It has to be a business trip! How can a tourist buy: four football boots, 9 kits, 5 jerseys, 12 books, 10 comics, and 15 Shoot magazines?
When I’m in London, I always think of myself as a businessman/tourist. But of course I’m neither a normal businessman nor a normal tourist. It’s not a disease of course! The one and only reason for visiting London every summer is to buy things IN LONDON! I’m not a shopaholic, because I don’t buy anything and I sure don’t want everything. I want specific things that I can’t buy them or can’t find them here in Kuwait. The whole goal of going there is to have fun, but at the same time, I want to buy the things that I want. Before even planning the whole trip, I begin my wonderful journey of planning my spending sheet. Believe me, it’s the best part of my trip. Planning what I’m gonna buy is more important than planning which hotel should I stay in or how much will the ticket cost. You can sum up my happiness in that piece of paper.
In my spending sheet, you will see specifically what I’m going to buy and when I’m going to buy them. Food and transportation are unwanted costs that I have to consider. You will see the exact date for every bought item. By doing so, you will know where I’m in that particular date. The spending sheet is mainly: football boots, kits, jerseys, comics, and books. I know I can get these items on the internet or even in Kuwait, but I do not only want to buy these things, my goal is to have fun while buying them. AND I DO. I can go elsewhere, but I always go to London! Their stores are amazing and the way that they design their stores is just mind blowing (the sport stores only). That’s what I call sport shopping in London.
The main goal or idea of a sport shopping trip is to focus your spending sheet on sport items only. Although I buy books and graphic novels, but my main goal is to buy boots and jerseys.
As you can see, if I’m only there for their sport stores and I’m only going to these stores, I don’t have time for anything else. Actually, I don’t want to go anyplace else. I hate parks and I do not enjoy the beauty of GREEN sights (nature in here glory). Museums are all the same and theme parks are lame. I don’t want to do anything or to go anywhere unless it’s a sport store. My pleasure is in these stores. I will give you the best example that will explain what I’m talking about.
Nike Town, England’s one and only Nike store, is the best sport store in the world. I know I didn’t visit any other store and I don’t have to, because London’s store is just amazing. If you even get the chance to visit London, Nike Town is a MUST-VISIT place. You don’t have to be a football fan or even a sport fan to enjoy your visit there. As soon as I put my bags, I run towards my favorite store. I’m not only talking about their products, but the way the store is designed. What makes the store amazing and breath-taking is the building itself. It’s basically a football factory. In the store, you will see how the ground is all fake grass, to give you the feeling that you are in an actual football ground. Also, the football boots showcase is just amazing. You can’t resist the need to at least try one of the boots there. I think that the way they present their products is a main element in their ongoing success. Nike Town in only one example for how just visiting the store can make your day and make you happy. You don’t have to buy anything to have fun there. Just visiting the store can be fun. That’s how I feel when I’m there. I don’t buy things because I have to; I buy things for the whole experience. It’s always fun to do so.
As I said, my pleasure is in the whole experience. I don’t have to visit old or even new museums to have fun. My fun begins when I’m in actually there in the store. Why go elsewhere when I’m happy visiting London. EVERY summer .. EVERY year. London is a fun place to visit and its sure is an amazing place if you’re a football fan. London, my town .. my place.
Enhshalah I will visit London this summer and as usual, I will write a full review and post about how London is a wonderful place.
