when two guys .. go to Dubai .. for the weekend .. JUST to check out a bookstore ..
now that’s just ridiculous and kinda nerdy .. !!
AND .. that’s exactly what Mad Reds and Just Truth are going to do this weekend ..

we got the idea after seeing Z Districts review for The Kinokuniya Bookstore

this HUGE bookstore has more than 66,000 different titles .. BUT most importantly they sell COMIC BOOKS ..
to be honest .. that’s my main purpose for going there .. !! from Thursday to Saturday .. we will be there ..

We will stay in a near by hotel .. we are NOT looking for a  luxurious vacation .. just two nerds going on a BOOK-related trip ..

wish us luck (finding the new BATMAN G.novels) .. see you on Sunday ..

1- Why did we start blogging ?
our main goal was to have a Web blog .. so that we can write about  anything we want or just point out anything in life .. but we can say that our purpose was .. to show the whole world OUR LIFE ..
in our slogan .. [ See Life Our Way ] .. we want you to see how we live and our true values in life.

2- When did we start blogging ?
our first blog wasn’t in this blog .. Mad Reds wrote solo in his blog before joining the 18th project. Of course back then the18thproject was madreds.com .. But our first post here in the 18th project was on:
May 4, 2008 .. Welcoming you to our blog !! we are in our 2nd year and we hope to continue our path.

3- We are blogging for YOU ?
YES, we are blogging for our readers .. I know that we are talking about our values, interests, topics and OUR LIVES .. But we are opening this window for you to see what can we offer .. and if we can change your point of view ..
Even if we didn’t .. it wont change our main goal .. and that is to provide you with the right materials for helping you in your life. So, we know that we are writing about our lives .. But we are doing it to improve and help yours .. !!

4- The Beginnings:
It was a small and simple idea .. Mad Reds wanted to blog .. to write what’s in his mind .. to show all the world his life ..
But he didn’t want to do this alone .. Just Truth and Bo 3zez .. they are the main two writers here in the 18thproject ..
and they are simply the reason for our successive success. They provided us with there view, interesting topics and basically how they see things. We thank them for their effort and we are waiting for their future topics.

5- From www.MadReds.com To www.The18thprojec.com:
when we first started this blog .. it began with only one writer (Madreds) so we were under the name : madreds.com.
but as we grow and Just Truth and Bo 3zez joined us .. we had to change our blogs name .. And the main idea was to have a common name but in the same time we must have a name that represent what are we doing here.

The Project .. this blog is our life PROJECT ..!

OUR 18 Project:

1- Islamic Topics: our main interest in Islam .. and we will show you our opinion in Islam .. we will talk about every aspect in Islam and what’s the right use of it.

2- TV and Movies: from lost .. to the Bourne ultimatum .. we will provide you with reviews and previews for the latest movies and TV show.

3- Our Values: we will talk about our values and what is wrong/right in life.

4- Blog Statements: now and then, we will announce: new logo, new banners, new topics or just chat with our readers.

5- (Moharam Topics) every year in moharam .. we dedicate our blog for Imam Hussain .. in the first 10 days .. we post about what happened to him and the whole story .. exp. last year we posted 13 topics .. starting from day one until the 13th of moharam.

6- Self-experienced topics: we will talk about our lives .. stories that can be used as a helping/healing experience. We share many personal stories with our readers because we think it’s healthy to share stories for our own benefit and also for our readers benefit.

7- Football (soccer) : we all know that JUST TRUTH is not a football fan .. but that doesn’t mean that we wont write Football-Related posts.

8- The Football Boots Factory: we will talk about boots .. MadReds is a big fan of football boots .. So, he will post about new/old boots (Full Review).

9- The Top Tens: Bo 3zez .. will provide us with the TOP TEN Lists .. in everything ..

10- Chatter Box: Just Truth ( The movie critic ) will review old/new and even bad movies and talk about them in a different yet brilliant way .. from horror to comedy.. He’ll bring the GOOD THE BAD and THE UGLY side of movies .. !!

11- Bin Batota: traveling tips and photos from every trip and more ..  here in the (Travel & Trips) section

12- سلسلة عاهات و مميزات : in these posts .. we will talk about one good aspect in life/kuwait and on the other hand .. we will discuss a bad aspect .. but not in a attacking way .. we will provide rational solutions and more.

13-  Long/Short Novels: so far, he had only one novel published here in the 18th project ..
( رواية سباق مع الموت ) by Just Truth .. and we are waiting for his new masterpiece.

14- The Weekend RUSH: Every weekend .. Every Friday and after a long and boring weekend .. Mad Reds will glamour you with his new topic and update you with what’s going on .. in Kuwait/world ..

15- Political Topics: we know we are not a political blog (and I thank good for that).. But we will post, from now and then, political topics .. we wont dig deep in these posts .. and the reason for that is simple .. WE HATE POLITICS ..!

16- Comics .. books and graphic novels: Mad Reds will post about new/old comics .. only DC comics .. mainly Batman ..

17- Philosophical topics: we know we are not philosophers .. but we can talk about life, human behavior and other interesting topics.

18- Graphic Design (web – blog – Photoshop …etc. ) : Showing you our work .. can be helpful in many inspiring ways.

PS. Although these are our main topics, we will post/talk/discuss other topics .. we are not restricted to only these 18 topics.

So, now you have a better picture .. now you can understand why, when, who and The beginnings of the 18thproject ..
